Rwanda Vulnerable People Disability Organization (RVPDO) is committed to advocating for the Batwa, an Indigenous community in Rwanda, with a special focus on persons with disabilities. This community faces significant challenges, including extreme poverty and low access to essential services. Alarmingly, the education rate among Batwa persons with disabilities is less than 1%, and their representation in economic development is similarly low. RVPDO operates in Kayonza, Rwamagana, Musanze, Gisagara and Nyaruguru, addressing the double discrimination faced by these individuals.
